A. Howard Miller was born in Norfolk, VA but was raised in Norfolk, VA and Brooklyn, NY. It was her experience of living in both spaces, indulging in several colorful cultures that played an integral part in her writing. Whether she’s crafting a supernatural horror that lingers in the shadows of the mind, a mystery that twists and turns with every page, or a fantasy that breathes new life into forgotten dreams, her goal remains the same: to create worlds that pull readers in and challenge them to see beyond the surface.

Her passion for writing is rooted in her fascination with human nature, the emotions we suppress, the fears we carry, and the resilience that pushes us forward.

Alongside of writing books, A. Howard Miller has earned her MFA in cinema and television producing. She has a few upcoming film projects. Beyond her creative pursuits, she’s a philanthropist at heart. Giving back and making a difference in people’s lives fuels her just as much as storytelling does.

When she is not writing or working on her next venture, you can probably find her on a baseball field, indulging in her love for the game. And if there’s strawberry cheesecake nearby, well, let’s just say she won’t be able to resist.
